My Bio
I wanted to be an artist when I grew up before I knew what that meant. I thought it meant it had to be my job and it meant I had to make money or be a painter or something. After graduating with my graphic design degree and hating my job, I moved into the baking and pastry field where I now own my own business and decorate cakes for a living. I'm still an artist, but the kind I never thought I would be or would have ever even known to try to be. Art is something inside you, you just never know how it's going to get out.

Why do I draw...

I used to draw all the time when I was younger. It was my only escape from life. I stopped drawing over the years and I can only say that it's probably due to not being so miserable. No hard times, no need to draw. It wasn't until recently that I've just been feeling a lot of stress again. A lot of family issues bubbling to the surface again. A lot of frustrations with my life direction. What to do, what to do. I've really been feeling the need to draw again. It's so therapeutic. I don't know why. It just makes me feel better.
